Here is a really cool pixel illustration of Scoutman: the Game. I think the title logo came out really well, and the sprites are coming together nicely. I haven't even started yet on the other 3 classes, but I will definitely post them here once i get something I like.

Hey good job noticing that! If you checked my more recent work, you'd realize I've since then made more sprites from scratch and made more serious edits to my old sprites. But hey, thanks for pointing out this pointless detail anyways!

I am...almost sickened...now, mistake not. The idea is perfectly fine. What irks me above all else is the fact that I thought of this crossover days ago, and discover someone working on it already. The saddest bit is that it seems you'll have hordes of people swarming to you to aid you in making the actual thing (playable game). So if I may...apologize for any rudeness that may emanate from my words, and let the games begin.

(I be workin' on this too....)

Honestly, I had only started making the artwork about a month ago, just for fun. When word got to kotaku, alot of people asked if I was going to make this a real game, and now I'm kinda obligated to do so. Really I've been asking people for help, cause I've never had experience in making flash games.

Got any stages planned? I drew up the Demoman stage, and I want to sprite it.

...hmm...tell you what: you make Scoutman, your followers will make the game, I'll make The Spy, then animate it into fake gameplay. That way, you stay on top.

...what the heck am I talking about....

Who leaked it to Kotaku, anyways!?

I haven't planned any stages, I havent even made sprites for background/foreground/level objects. I want to get a good idea of what weapons there will be, and how they could be used in the stage to take shortcuts that arent completely obvious. Like using the arrows as a temporary platform (like the concrete shot)

I don't know how it got on kotaku, not like it wasn't a very heavily kept secret. I got the idea about making a game like this, but didnt really see much coming from it. Somebody liked my art and posted it there, and now the kotaku talked about it, I've gotten alot of good tips from guys about how to make such a game, so I'm going to give it a try.
